Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Mula Education Society, Sonai organised a virtual orientation session for all the teaching, non-teaching staff of its four schools ie Ace Academy, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Yash Academy-Sonai, Dnyandeep English School-Newasa and Mula Public School-Sonai. Sunita Gadakh Patil and trust vice-president Udayan Gadakh Patil took initiative in organizing the programme on the topic ‘Mindfulness and Mental Health.’

VP Udayan Gadakh said the topic is the need of the time as if the teachers are mentally healthy, they can keep the students also mentally healthy and fit. Key speaker, expert in mindfulness therapy, and mental health mentor Dr Yash Velankar discussed exercises like ‘Mood meter’, ‘Name it to Tame it’ and ‘Reduce the Overthinking.’ He asked the teachers to identify the anger triggers and methods to divert the anxiety. Teachers received solutions for their queries.

Trust joint secretary Dr Vinayak Deshmukh welcomed the dignitaries and proposed a vote of thanks. Around 200 staff attended the session.
