Aurangabad, April 24: Shamit School, Aurangabad has received the British Council International Dimensions Award (IDS) for its outstanding level of support towards nurturing global citizenship in young minds and enriching teaching and learning through the best practices. The IDS Award is given as an accreditation framework. It supports school in fostering an international ethos and embedding it within the curriculum.

The Shamit School had collaborated with few international schools from Dubai, France, Lebanon and China. Grade 1 to 10 students were involved in the international framework, collaborative curriculum-based work and year-round international activities. The school also plans to include more activities with overseas schools during the coming year.
