Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Known as a busy junction filled with constant traffic noise, the historic Kranti Chowk echoed with the soothing chants of ‘Shantipath’ on Saturday evening, offering a rare moment of calm and spiritual reflection.

The chanting was organised to promote world peace on the occasion of Bhagwan Parashuram Jayanti. The Shantipath began at 7 pm in the presence of the full-length statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The recitation conveyed a universal message, may there be peace in the heavens, in space, on Earth, in water, in herbs, in vegetation, and across the entire universe, and may that peace be attained by all.

The chants continued for 55 minutes. Head of Shrikrishna Vedpathshala, Aniket Deshmukh Guruji along with a group of Vedic scholars, led the chanting. The event was made successful through the efforts of Vishwas Nagapurkar, Jeevanguru Bhogankar, Subhash Mule, Jeevan Joshi, and Prasanna Joshi. Office-bearers of the Bhagwan Parashuram Jayanti Committee under the Brahmin Samaj Coordination Committee were also present.
