Shiv devotees strictly followed the law, stopping music and drumbeats exactly at midnight. Police maintained tight security for nearly 20 consecutive hours, deploying around 1,500 personnel and over 90 officers at Kranti Chowk, where thousands gathered from midnight and continued paying tributes throughout the day.
