Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Shivam Rameshwar Suradkar, a volunteer of the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, has been selected as a guest for the Republic Day ceremony to be held in Delhi on January 26.

NSS Director Dr. Sominath Khade said that Shivam was recognised for his excellent and remarkable work under the NSS and received an invitation from the Ministry of Sports, Government of India, to attend the main Republic Day ceremony in Delhi on January 26 as a special guest.

Vice-Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari felicitated Shivam Suradkar due to this prestigious selection. Shivam is among only four students from the State selected to participate in the national Republic Day ceremony. Pro-VC Dr Walmik Sarwade, Registrar Dr Prashant Amrutkar and others were present.
