Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

The Shivjanmotsav celebration, organized by the New Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Shri Ganesh Mahasangh Shivjayanti Utsav Committee, was held with grandeur on Wednesday evening.

Dignitaries including OBC Welfare Minister Atul Save, MP Sandipan Bhumre, Mahasangh's founder president Baban Didore, this year's committee president Sujyot Murhe, former MP Chandrakant Khaire, Navin Oberoi, Shivprasad Pagar, Shankar Mhatre, Ashok Damle, attended the event. After the Maha Aarti of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a grand procession with fireworks, dhol-tasha beats, lezim troupes, and live tableaux moved towards Pundaliknagar. The highlight was a stunning, illuminated chariot. Pundaliknagar Road was decked with decorative lights, and Shiv devotees participated enthusiastically. Various groups, including the BJP, welcomed the processions at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk.
