Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: MGM Clover Dale School, in collaboration with Sanskar Vidyalaya Cidco, Sanskar Vidyalaya Waluj, and MGM First Steps School, presented ‘Shivtej Prabhat,’ recently. The grand musical tribute marked the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Secretary of MGM Trust Dr Ankushrao Kadam, chief guests Anant Bhagwat and Shankar Jadhav garlanded the portrait of the great warrior king.
The programme included evocative performances such as ‘Mujra Manacha Jijaula,’ ‘Shivbancha Palna,’ and the stirring ‘Afzal Khan Powada.’
The grand reenactment of the coronation ceremony (Shivrajyabhishek Sohala) left the audience spellbound. The programme reached its emotional crescendo with a collective rendition of ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra.’
Inspired by director of schools Dr Aparna Kakkad and guided by principal Ritesh Mehta, the event was successful with support by Usha Jadhav, Smita Kulkarni, Mita Kapoor, Varsha Potdar, and Sachin Maid.
