Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to construct a shopping by demolishing the Nehru Bhavan old building. The administration has prepared the development draft for it from a private agency from Delhi. The mall will include traders’ office, meeting hall, banquette hall and others.

The ground floor area will be 2283 sq. meter including lobby and service facilities. The mall will have a banquette hall accommodating 400 to 600 persons measuring 487 sq mts, 20 cells of trade centre measuring 17 Sq mts to 31.17 sq mts. An exhibition hall measuring 175 sq mts for organizing various festivals. The toilet, kitchen and administrative facilities will be available on the ground floor.

The shopping mall measuring 2063 sq mts and all purpose audience hall will be on first floor. Film projection, documentary, promotional show, seminar, live performance, change room, storage facilities will be available in the audience hall. Similarly, exhibition hall will be used to promote the historic, cultural and tourism of the city.

The 1037 area will be developed on the second floor for the office use which will have 12 offices measuring 33 sq mts and 90 mts. The open space on the terrace will be used for weekly market or commercial purpose. Parking facility will be available in the 2531 sq mts area in the underground where 90 cars can be parked.
