Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: In a citizen-friendly initiative, four corporators from Prabhag No. 23 have jointly launched a single helpline number (98238 71111) to simplify complaint registration and ensure faster resolution. Residents can now lodge their complaints 24x7 by calling, which will directly connect them to the concerned representatives.

The initiative is led by corporators Dr. Pramod Rathod, Satyabhama Dammuanna Shinde, Balaji Munde, and Surekha Tarachand Gaikwad. Based on the nature of the issue, complaints will be routed to the respective corporator, enabling quicker action and accountability.

Launched under the slogan “One number for all, always at your service,” the helpline aims to reduce the need for residents to visit multiple offices and streamline the grievance redressal process.

After dialling the helpline number, callers must press 1 to register a complaint; press 2 to speak to Dr Rathod; press 3 for Munde; press 4 for Shinde; and press 5 for Gaikwad.

Citizens have welcomed the move, expressing hope that it will strengthen coordination between the public and their elected representatives while ensuring prompt civic services.
