To get a previously filed case withdrawn, three people assaulted a sister and her brother. They also injured them by stabbing on the ear and hand. The incident occurred on 18 February near Shahanurmia Dargah. Following a complaint by Aditya Halde (25, Narlibag), a case was registered at Osmanpura police station against Sachin Sonawane, Diksha Bhawsar, and Kavita Sonawane (Narlibag).
