Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

In a mesmerising celebration of music and mindfulness, Kalasagar organised the much-acclaimed ‘Sitar for Mental Health’ programme by renowned Sitar virtuoso Rishab Rikhiram Sharma at Agrawal Properties, on Monday. The highlight of the evening was the artist’s captivating sitar performance that seamlessly blended classical ragas such as Tilak Kamod and Shankara with popular Bollywood-themed compositions including Kal Ho Naa Ho, Zara Zara and Tum Hi Dekho Na, along with an engaging full band jugalbandi that received an overwhelming response from the audience. On the backdrop of Mahashivratri, he also performed ‘Shivaradhana’ and the audience was taken to a spiritual vibe with the lights and the stage designed with Lord Shiva’s divine theme.

The music lovers experienced the unique musical initiative aimed at promoting mental well-being and emotional balance through the soothing resonance of the Sitar.

Earlier, Kalasagar Founder President Ashoo Darda was ceremonially welcomed by President Vijay Agrawal and committee members. Secretary Ravi Rajpal proposed a vote of thanks.

The evening concluded on a high note, leaving the audience inspired as music transcended performance to become a journey towards emotional healing and harmony of mind and soul.
