Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The divisional office of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Education Department of Zilla Parishad and Revenue Department have formed their squads to keep watch on SSC examinations beginning at 288 centres of the district on February 21.
The Education Department set up seven flying squads for the district while 10 squads of the Revenue Department will pay a sudden visit to any centre. Also, there will be a sitting squad on each centre.
A total of 68,223 candidates will appear for the examination at 238 centres in the district. A total of 22 custodians were appointed for supplying question papers and answer books to the centres. The District Vigilance Committee meeting which was chaired by a district collector, issued instructions for the copy-free examinations.
The examination control cell was established in the district. The online monitoring of the centre’s building will be done through runners by the War Room of Control Cell. As per the guidelines issued by the Education Department, no one except those related to examination duty will have entry within 50 meters area of the centre. Police have already issued prohibitory orders on centre premises.
The State Board officers said that each and every student from the centre would be frisked at the entrance of the centre. The female candidates will be frisked by a female staff of the centre. The flying squad will enter the centre one hour before the commencement time of the paper and leave one hour after the examination. The Chief Executive Officer of ZP appointed all department heads as tehsi-wise liaison officers for the examination. The officers of the education department said that police complaints would be lodged against the centre chiefs, invigilators and employees if they were found providing any answer of objective-type questions.
