Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Maharashtra state electricity distribution company Limited (MSEDCL) announced the winners of its first Lucky Digital Consumer Scheme online draw on April 7. The names have been published on its official website.

A total of 651 winners were declared for the first prize, 1,302 for the second, and 1,302 for the third prize. The list of winners has been made available on MSEDCL’s official website. At the sub-division level, one consumer from each division has been awarded a smartphone as the first prize. Similarly, two consumers per sub-division have been awarded smartphones for the second prize, and two more per sub-division have received smartwatches as the third prize.

More chances ahead

The next lucky draws will be held in May and June. Consumers paying three or more electricity bills online between January 1 and May 31, 2025, are eligible.

Over 70% consumers paying online

Currently, over 70% of consumers in the state pay their bills online. MSEDCL launched this scheme to further boost digital payments.
