Aurangabad, Dec 16:

To express gratitude, the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) has complimented the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) officials and personnel for rendering services and helping jawans to get back on their feet, during the pandemic situation in the city.

The function was held at the headquarter of SRPF Battalion No- 14, in Satara vicinity, (falling under the jurisdiction of Zone No.8) on Tuesday. SRPF commandant G S Nijlewar presented appreciation certificate and a rose flower to each Covid-warrior. The medical officer Dr Babasaheb Unawane, supervisor Shaikh Anwar Shaikh Dadabhai, K G Daud, Borade, MPW''s Sunil Solunke, Santram Sane, Bharat Bochare and M.I.T College''s Covid Care Centre''s doctors, nurses and health staff were feted on occasion.

As reported earlier, 97 SRPF jawans were quarantined, who were deployed on bandobast in the city and Malegaon during the lockdown period, at MIT Covid Care Centre after they returned from their assigned duties. During this critical period, the civic officials and other staff regularly sprayed disinfectants, provided all health and medical facilities including meals on time to these jawans. Hence, the cops expressed gratitude by felicitating them.
