Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) February-March 2026 session examinations to be conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will commence on February 20. The examinations will continue until March 18. More than 1.90 lakh will appear at 643 centres in the five districts in Chhatrapati Sambhainagar division.

Tight frisking in district
The Education Department (Secondary) already completed all the preparations for the examination at 240 centres where 69, 530 students will take the papers beginning on Friday. The students will be frisked at the entrance of the centres, like in HSC, to put a check on malpractice during the examination. The State Board instructed all the centres to install CCTV cameras, which will be connected to the control of the Education Department. There will be keen monitoring of sensitive centres in the district.
Also, sitting and flying squads comprising officers from the Education Department, State Board and Revenue Department will make surprise visits at any centre at any time during the examination period.
