Stepping Stones High School celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti, popularly known as Gurupurab with élan, virtually on Facebook. The day marks the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Devji, the founder of Sikhism and the first Guru of the Sikhs.

The students enlightened upon the significance of Gurupurab and various teachings of Guru Nanak Devji. They also shared useful information related to the life and teachings of the revered Guru Nanak besides singing the Shabad Gurbani or holy hymn “Koi Bole Ram koi Bole Khudaye”. Kirak Palaya and Arak Chhabra beautifully read the Mul Mantra (‘Ek Onkar’) given by Guru Nanak.

He emphasised on the point “Before becoming a Muslim, a Sikh, a Hindu or a Christian, let’s become a human first” by Guru Nanak.
