Aurangabad, Oct 28:

Aurangabad Divisional Controller of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) Arun Siya said that extra 50 buses would be plied on different routes on November 11 and 22 for Diwali festival.

There is a possibility of an increase in the number of passengers due to the festival.

The MSRTC has planned to operate extra buses from Aurangabad to Pune, Akola, Nagpur, Amravati and other routes. It will also increase trips taking into account rush.

Many youths from the city take education or work in Pune. Also, people from the Marathwada and adjoining districts come to the city for work, education and business. They prefer to visit native place for festival celebration.

The figure of patients of Novel coronavirus is declining here.

This is resulting in a rush at MSRTC buses. The State Road Corporation has geared up to serve passengers in the festival season.
