Two separate stabbing incidents over old disputes were reported in the Harsul police station limits. One victim was attacked in the back and the other in the chest. Cases have been registered on Saturday.

The injured have been identified as Ashish Shrisundar ( Dnyaneshwarnagar, N-9, Cidco) and Vishal Bhosale (ST Colony, Surewadi). As per Ashish’s complaint, he was buying pani puri near Jadhavwadi signal on April 1 when the accused, Samson Shrisundar (resident of Navjeevan Colony, N-11), arrived. Seeing Samson with a sharp weapon, Ashish fled toward ST Colony. Samson chased him and stabbed him in the back with a machete. Ashish collapsed but managed to resist. He is undergoing treatment at GMCH. PSI Ganesh Kedar is investigating.

In the second case, Vishal Bhosale went to the New Mondha vegetable market around 5:30 a.m. on April 5. After shopping, he met his friend Dattatray Badak at SBOA Chowk. While they were having tea, the accused Varun Nandkishor Bhillare (resident of Sudarshannagar, TV Centre, Hudco) approached and stabbed Vishal in the chest from behind.
