Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Anticipating a possible increase in ready reckoner (RR) rates, there was a surge in property registrations across the district. Between March 29 and March 31, around 800 property documents were registered across 13 offices.

The highest number of transactions, 405 property registrations was recorded on March 31 alone, generating a revenue of Rs 67.60 lakh for the stamp duty department.

With new RR rates expected to come into effect from April 1, many buyers rushed to complete property deals before the end of the financial year to avoid additional financial burden.
