Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Vice-Chancellor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) Dr Vijay Fulari, said that no matter what field one is in, staying continuously active keeps life happy and healthy.

He said that even after retirement, one should continue doing work that one enjoys. He was speaking in a programme organised at the Mahatma Phule Auditorium recently to give farewell to three employees of the university on their retirement.

Registrar Dr Prashant Amritkar was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Dr Pushpa Gaikwad, Professor from the History Department, Section Officer and Basketball Coach Ganesh Kad from the Sports Department and employee Murlidhar Bhingare were given a farewell.

VC Dr Vijay Fulari noted that many dedicated employees who had worked exceptionally well over the past two and a quarter years retired, and since recruitment has not kept pace, the workload is increasing. Dr Sanjay Shinde conducted the proceedings of the programme while Sanjay Lamb proposed a vote of thanks.
