Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The History Department of S B College of Arts and Commerce organised an educational visit for History students to the Department of Tourism Studies and the History Museum at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.

During the visit, Dr Rajesh Ragade, Head of the Tourism Department, and Dr Madhuri Sawant guided the students on the importance of the tourism sector, career opportunities within it, and the preservation of historical heritage.

Subsequently, at the History Museum, Dr Amol Kulkarni provided detailed information about various archaeological tools, their types, uses, and significance in research.

College Principal Dr Vivek Mirgane, Vice-Principal Dr Sandeep Chaudhari, and Head of the History Department Dr Smita Shinde extended their cooperation for this initiative. This initiative greatly helped in fostering students' interest in the subject of history and in raising awareness about the fields of tourism and archaeology.
