A young man was robbed after being assaulted by two men who wielded swords in the air on the street. The incident occurred at around 2 am on April 13 in Nagasennagar.

The accused are identified as Anand Khare (20) and Sandesh Patekar (both residents of Milind Nagar). Sagar Nile (28, resident of Usmanpura) was on his way home riding a motorcycle. While passing through Nagasennagar, Anand and Sandesh stopped him. They created terror by swinging swords in the air. They then assaulted Sagar with the swords, leaving him bloodied. The two then took Rs. 5,000 in cash from his pocket and continued to beat him before fleeing. A case has been registered at the Osmanpura Police Station.
