The use of modern technology in supply chain management is essential to surviving global competition, industry experts stressed at a one-day conference organized by the Indian Institute of Material Management (IIMM) Sambhajinagar. This conferrance held at Nanasaheb Bhogle Auditorium in Marathwada Auto Cluster, the event saw participation from 250 industry representatives.

In the conferrnce Head of Bagla Group Rishi Bagla highlighted challenges in supply chain management and emphasized that adopting technology, skilled manpower and efficient methods could boost industrial profits. SRG Group Chairman Vineet Pitthi discussed structured systems for optimizing supply chains, sharing examples of technology-driven improvements in his industry. Vice president of Jade Industry Group Ashutosh Muchhaddi, emphasized the role of artificial intelligence in streamlining production and supply chain operations. He asserted that AI adoption is critical to staying competitive globally. Mukund Karad Khedkar spoke on sustainable human resource development, highlighting the importance of social responsibility in recruitment and employee training. Endurance Technology’s Sanjay Sanghai concluded by stressing the need for trust in supply chain management, stating that technology-driven efficiency and responsible resource use are key to business growth.

The event was moderated by Fanikumar and Samriddhi Yelikar, with a vote of thanks by IIMM Vice President Shrikant Mule. Several IIMM members played a crucial role in organizing the conference successfully.
