Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The city and surrounding areas recorded a sharp rise in temperature, with the mercury touching 37.6°C on Friday, March 6, breaking the previous record set earlier in the week.

On Friday, the maximum temperature rose to 37.6°C and the minimum temperature was recorded at 20.4°C. The rising temperatures have intensified the heat, making the weather increasingly uncomfortable.

Since March 1, residents have been experiencing warm and dry conditions as temperatures continue to climb.

Rise in maximum temperature during the week:

March 1: 34.5°C

March 2: 35.0°C

March 3: 36.2°C

March 4: 36.8°C

March 5: 36.6°C

March 6: 37.6°C
