A tempo (MH 18 BZ 4245) met with an accident on the Dhule-Solapur Highway near Harikishnagar, Kannad, at 8.30 pm on Wednesday due to ongoing road construction. Driver Sanjay Pawra was injured and admitted to Kannad Rural Hospital. The vehicle, returning to Dhule after delivering chicks to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, suffered major damage and caused a temporary traffic jam. Mahavitaran employees Sachin Zalte, Engineer Pranjal Alhad, and Aher, with help from locals and a JCB, cleared the road and restored traffic flow.
