Aurangabad, Nov 25:

Everyday, hundreds of people wander in the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and the district collectorate without masks, then will it be sealed, the officials of the Vyapari Mahasangh raised the question.

AMC administrator, Astik Kumar Pandey in a meeting on Tuesday indicated that action will be taken against the shopkeepers if found selling articles to the customers without masks. The shops will be sealed for 15 days, he directed.

The general secretary of the Mahasangh, Laxminarayan Rathi in this regard said, it is unjust to seal the shops. Every day, hundreds of people wander in AMC and district collectorate without masks. Then will the administrator seal it, he questioned.

The president of the Mahasangh, Jaggannath Kale said, the traders are taking care of themselves and the customers too. However, some customers come without masks and start quarrelling if they are asked about it, then what will the shopkeeper do. If the customers are not listening then why the shopkeepers and fined, he questioned.
