Aurangabad, July 7:
The Waluj MIDC police on Wednesday arrested a thief for stealing articles amounting Rs 9 lakh from Lunawat Auto Control System Company at Waluj MIDC area within 24 hours of the incident. The arrested has been identified as Akash Pralhad Bhalerao (21, Jogeshwari) and seized articles worth Rs 6.30 lakh from him. Three more accused in this theft are at large. Akash, along with his accomplices, stole articles from the company on Sunday night. The owner Komalkumar Lunawat lodged a complaint at the Waluj MIDC police station on Monday. On suspicion, the police laid a trap and arrested Akash on Tuesday at Jogeshwari. He confessed that he, along with his accomplices, stole the articles and sold some of it.
