Aurangabad, Oct 29:

A thief posing as a newspaper vendor entered into an apartment and stole a gold chain weighing six tolas and a laptop, all amounting to Rs 2.75 lakh, from an open flat. The incident occurred at Tirumala Complex at Sangramnagar on Thursday morning.

A computer Seller, Sanjay Omprakash Agrawal (47) lives at Tirumala Complex. Today morning, he went to gym in the morning, and his flat''s door was not locked. His wife, Meenakshi was working in the kitchen. An unidentified man entered the complex with a newspaper bundle and entered Agrawal''s flat on third floor at around 8.30 am and took away a gold chain weighing six tolas and a laptop. Later, Meenakshi came out of the kitchen and saw that articles were missing. She called Agrawal and informed about it. A case has been lodged at Jawaharnagar police station. PI, Santosh Patil, PSI Bharat Pachole and others inspected the spot.

Meanwhile, the man entering the Agrawal’s flat has been captured in the CCTV camera of the complex and the police are investigating in this direction.
