Aurangabad, June 27:

Thieves burgled two shops in Pundliknagar and Hudco area and made off with grocery articles, including dry fruits, tooth pastes, tea power and Cigarette packets. Dilip Atmaram Tated (36, New Mondha, Jadhavwadi area) runs a dry fruit shop in Harishchandra Complex in Hudco area. Thieves broke the shop on May 28 night and took away dry fruits amounting Rs 8,750 and Rs 10,500 cash. In another incident, Sanjay Babulal Pande’s (51, Vijayalaxmi Pride, Hariramnagar, Beed By-pass) shop was burgled on June 25 night. The thieves took away Cigarette packets amounting to Rs 25,000, dry fruits of Rs 29,000, toothpastes amounting Rs 6,000, and Tea powder of Rs 7,000, all amounting to Rs 67,000. A case has been registered at the Pundliknagar police station in this regard.
