Aurangabad, June 13:

Metalman Auto Pvt Ltd and the Aurangabad Cantonment Board (ACB) on Saturday created a third mini forest by planting about 500 trees in the open space next to the ACBs chief executive officer's residence.

The trees were planted by the chief executive officer Metalman Auto Shrikant Mundada and ACB CEO Vikrant More as part of its social commitment. Metalman has so far planted about 4,500 native trees at Cantonment premises, Waluj industrial estate and Golwadi Jakat Naka and is taking care of them. Plant head Anil Kumar Dahale, Prakash Yekhande, Krishnakant Bijamwar, Ashish Sharma, Anand Galgali, H R head Vijay Salve, Suryakant Shanbagh, Pravin Joshi, Vikram Patwardhan were special guests. Athiya Yusuf, Sachin Ghodke, workers and employees worked hard for the success of the tree planting.
