Aurangabad, Dec 7:

An online lecture was organised in Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University on Sunday to observe Mahaparinirvan Din.

Noted poetry and critic Dr Mahendra Bhavre delivered the lecture. Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole, Pro-VC Dr Shyam Shirsath, registrar Dr Jaishri Kulkarni and director of Students Development Department Dr Mustajeeb Khan,

Dr Mahendra Bhavre said that many stories, poems, novels, songs, Jalsa were written on Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. He noted that many writers, poets like Wamandada Kardak, Namdev Dasal, Waman Nimablkar, Bhimrao Kardak, J V Pawar, Daya Pawar, Baburao Bagul, Kusumagraj, F M Shinde took Dr Ambedkar’s message and ideology up to villages.

“Today, thoughts of Dr Ambedkar has reached to every nook and corner of the world. Poetry has the lion’s share in it,” he added.

VC Dr Pramod Yeole said youths should take inspiration from incredible work of Dr Ambedkar in country’s development. Department of English Dr Uttam Ambhore introduced the dignitaries while Sanjay Shinde proposed a vote of thanks.
