Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Two men threatened and assaulted a traffic constable at Harsul T-point on March 18, claiming links with corporator Azhar Pathan. The incident took place around 3 pm when Constable Mohan Singal asked them to move their cruiser (MH-20-EE-5332) blocking traffic. The duo abused him, threatened to get his uniform removed, and even issued death threats before fleeing. A case has been registered at the Harsul police station.

Bailiff, Lawyer Attacked

Bailiff Motiram Mundhe (55) and advocate Balwant Kokane were assaulted in Chimanpura, Jatwada, while serving a warrant in a Rs 3.43 lakh loan case. Accused Appasaheb Khandagale (58), his brother, and two sons attacked them and issued death threats. All four have been booked.
