Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: As a social and public-interest initiative aimed at enhancing tourism safety, road safety and the protection of passengers’ lives, the union Ministry of Tourism (MoT), in association with the Aurangabad Tourism Development Foundation (ATDF) and the United Cool Cab All Taxi Union, will jointly organise a health awareness training programme for tourist taxi drivers at Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital (Beed Bypass) on January 28, 2026.

The programme, titled ‘Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Tourism Safety Programme – Life-Saving Skills Training for Tourist Taxi Drivers’, will be conducted by expert doctors from the hospital, who will provide professional and practical training in life-saving skills such as first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency response. The training session will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm and will equip drivers to effectively handle emergency situations that may arise during travel.

Through this initiative, tourist taxi drivers will be empowered as first responders, enabling them to offer prompt and effective assistance in critical situations.
