Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A swarm of aggressive bees attacked tourists at the world-famous Ajanta Caves on Sunday evening, injuring 10 visitors, including domestic and international travelers. The incident occurred around 5 pm near Cave No. 10, raising concerns over tourist safety at the UNESCO World Heritage site.

Eyewitnesses reported sudden chaos as the bees swarmed, forcing visitors to flee. The injured tourists were rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment. This is not the first such attack just last month, a similar incident left 10 tourists injured. Despite repeated occurrences, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has failed to address the issue, with nearly 5 to 7 beehives still hanging in the area. The growing frequency of these attacks has sparked concerns among visitors and tour operators, who are urging authorities to take immediate action to prevent further incidents.
