Aurangabad, Dec 30:

The trade union state-level joint action committee will launch a joint boycott campaign against the two industrial groups, which have a monopoly in several sectors of the country, to support the nationwide agitation of farmers. In a press conference, the union members informed that a boycott would be imposed on these industries products and services from January 1.

The union members alleged that the three laws against the farmers'' interests were implemented hastily and in an undemocratic manner. This will harm all small and medium farmers in the country. All the farmers in the country are fighting peacefully against these laws for a long time. Simultaneously, the government has illegally repealed 44 laws that have been the basic rights of the workers for 100 years and have passed 4 laws that deprive the working class of all their rights. On November 26 and December 8, 2020, the country''s workers and farmers went on strike at the national level and expressed their dissatisfaction and protest against the Farmers and Labor Act. We demand to repeal three anti-farmer agricultural laws, enforce minimum support prices for farm commodities, repeal 4 anti-labour codes and re-enforce old laws that give workers their rights. Demands were made to withdraw the Electricity (Amendment) Bill 2020. Dr Bhalchandra Kango, Subhash Lomte, Pandit Munde, Abhay Taksal, Shrikant Fopse, Basavaraj Patne were present.
