Traffic police conducted a special drive against Bullet riders using loud modified silencers at Deolai Chowk on Saturday around 4 pm. Officers stopped riders, inspected vehicles, and seized illegal high-noise silencers, drawing public attention.

Police said such modified silencers cause disturbance to residents, schoolchildren, pedestrians, and motorists, especially near the subway, where some riders deliberately create explosive sounds. Traffic police inspector Amol Devkar, police sub-inspector Waghule, and team led the operation. Police said the drive will continue to curb noise pollution and ensure public safety.
