Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A massive traffic jam occurred near the Shivajinagar underpass on Monday between 10 am and 11 am, causing inconvenience to commuters. With Class 10 and 12 board examinations scheduled to begin at 11 am, many parents were on their way to drop their children at examination centres, while employees and workers were also heading to work.

Traffic congestion at the entrance of the underpass near Shivajinagar and Deolai junction delayed several vehicles, creating anxiety among students appearing for the exams. Although schools and colleges were closed due to Nath Shashthi, the examinations were scheduled as usual.

Around 10.30 am, a truck (MH 26 BE 8822) got stuck in an iron frame while travelling from Shivajinagar towards Deolai, further halting traffic. After the upper iron rods were removed, the truck was cleared and traffic was restored. Citizens have demanded a permanent solution to the recurring issue.
