Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Two separate accidents occurred in the Waluj area due to negligent and rash driving, leading to police cases being registered against the drivers on Saturday.

According to a complaint filed by Adil Salim Sheikh, on Friday night he was returning with a friend on a motorcycle bearing registration (MH-20-FJ-9676) near Misarwadi. Near Hanumannagar Arch in Waluj, the driver of a Swift car (MH-39-BK-1748) coming from Ahilyanagar collided with the motorcycle due to careless driving. Adil was injured in the crash, and the motorcycle was damaged. In the second incident, Sanjay Gangadhar Degawkar filed a complaint stating that on January 23, while driving his car (MH-14-KS-7046) near Jikthaan Phata on Ahilyanagar–Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Road, he was hit from behind by another car (MH-19-EZ-6520) driven negligently by Deepak Bhivsane. Degawkar’s car sustained damage in the accident. Police investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
