Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A two-day training programme on ‘Understanding outcome-based education (OBE) in the next context of the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) new SAR framework’ was conducted by MIT’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell at Maharashtra Institute of Technology, recently.

Vice-chancellor of Odisha State Open University, Odisha prof Dr Shyam Sunder Pattnaik, and associate professor, NITTR Bhopal Dr Suman Pattnaik, were the speakers.

VC Dr Pattnaik said, “NBA should become a lifestyle of every technical institution. NBA is related to SPP - which means Speak, Present, and Proof. Our students should be able to solve complex engineering problems. Today’s teachers must learn the Artificial Intelligence tools to update themselves.”

Dr Suman spoke on the assessment part of NBA Accreditation. She explained the importance of curriculum and its relation with industries. “Our teaching learning process, our curriculum must be assessed continuously,” she said.

Director of MIT Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Dr Nilesh Patil made the concluding remark.

Dr Abhilasha Mishra, Dr Bhakti Ahirwadkar, Dr Chetan Kuthe and Vasudeo Upadhye took efforts for the success.
