Two persons were injured in a road accident after a speeding car collided with a tractor in front of the Pathri bus stand on the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar–Jalgaon road on Saturday around 9.30 pm.

According to information, a car (MH-20-EE-3386) heading towards Sillod at high speed rammed into a tractor from behind. In the incident, Ashok Laxman Kakade (50, r/o Dhanora, Sillod) sustained minor injuries, while Jayashree Kakade (48) suffered a fractured arm. The front portion of the car was completely damaged, and the accident caused traffic congestion for some time. Locals rushed to the spot, assisted the injured and helped clear the road to restore traffic flow. Both injured persons were admitted to the rural hospital in Phulambri and are under treatment.
