Citing long delays in obtaining essential permits, Uddhav Sena activists staged a protest on Monday at the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) regional office. Industrialists have alleged that over 70 permit applications remain pending, despite being submitted on time.

MPCB Regional Officer Manish Holkar accepted a memorandum from the protesting delegation and acknowledged the issue. He explained that Marathwada has five sub-divisional offices, but a shortage of field officers has affected processing times. However, he assured that officials are conducting site visits and taking necessary steps to clear pending applications. The protest saw participation from former deputy mayor Raju Shinde Dnyaneshwar Dange, Lakshminarayan Bakhariya, Hiralal Salampure and several others.
