Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The summer session examinations for undergraduate courses within the jurisdiction of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University are starting on April 7.

More than 2.82 lakh students will appear for the summer session examinations at 240 centres across four districts. Director of the Board of Examination and Evaluation (BoEE), Dr B N Dole, informed that measures were taken to ensure copy-free, transparent examinations and speedy results.

A meeting of the BoEE was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari, in which various proposals were approved. Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr Walmik Sarwade, all Deans, and Examination Board members were present at the meeting. Various topics were discussed and approved.

Regarding the summer examinations for various undergraduate, diploma, postgraduate, and other courses beginning April 7, 2026, a decision was taken to nominate external supervisors at each examination centre to ensure a copy-free environment.

Flying squads with designated chairpersons and members have been appointed district-wise and route-wise to make surprise visits to examination centres.

One principal has been appointed as District Coordinator for each of the districts, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Beed, and Dharashiv, for the purpose of conducting examinations and announcing results. A proposal was also placed regarding the approval for affixing the answer sheet number on the last page.

Meanwhile, a meeting of principals of affiliated colleges was held on Monday afternoon. BoEE Director Dr B N Dole announced that this year's examinations would be conducted with utmost transparency and results would be declared on time.

The efforts for this meeting were made by Deputy Registrar Dr Vishnu Karhale, Assistant Registrars Bhagwan Phad, Rajendra Gangurde, Mahendra Paithane and Haridas Khude from the Examination Department.
