In today''s age of globalization, the corporate sector has done a great job in terms of maintaining quality and professionalism. The university also needs to do the same, said vice-chancellor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Dr Pramod Yeole in a press conference held on Wednesday.
Dr Yeole informed about the various activities implemented by the university in past year and also about the activities to be implimented in the new year. He said that the ''File Tracking System'' was launched on January 1 to bring transparency and speed in university administration. A leave management system will be started from January 1, 2021. In this system, leave application, approval, registration of all staff and professors will be online, informed Dr Yeole.
PET to be held in two stages
The PhD Entrance Test (PET-5), which has been stalled for the last four years, will be implemented from January 1. The entire process of will be done online. Online registration will be done between January 1-11. The first paper will be held on January 30, 2021 and second paper on February 21. The result of both the papers will be available on February 28. Registration of students eligible for research will be done in March.
