Unseasonal rain lashed parts of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Wednesday night, devastating standing rabi and summer maize crops nearing harvest. The downpour struck around 9 pm, leaving farmers in distress as extensive damage was reported from Ladsawangi, Lamkana, Lamkanawadi, Shelud, Chartha, Hatmali, Naygaoan, and neighboring villages. With both kharif and rabi yields affected, farmers are staring at financial losses, further compounding their challenges.
