Aurangabad, Feb 10:

The state's Urban Development (UD) minister Eknath Shinde will be on a two-day tour to Aurangabad and Jalna from February11. The minister will be reviewing the implementation of the Urban Development Department's unified development control rules (U-DCR) in the district by local self-bodies.

Shinde will be holding various meetings in Jalna during the daytime on Thursday. He will then proceed towards Aurangabad by road and reach at 10 pm. He will be halting at Subhedari Guest House in the night. On Friday morning, the minister will review the implementation of U-DCR, and various development works launched by Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) at the civic headquarter at 10 am. The district collector, AMC commissioner, public representatives and office-bearers will be attending the meeting. Later on, he will hold a review meeting to see the implementation of DCR by district's municipal councils and municipalities at the district collectorate at 12 pm. Shinde will address a press conference here at 2 pm. He will then proceed to Mumbai by plane at 8 pm, stated the release.
