Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: “The process of revising the staffing pattern of agricultural universities to fill vacant posts in Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University in Parbhani is going on at a fast pace and the vacant posts in the said university will be filled in the next three months, said Ashish Jaiswal, the state Minister of State for Agriculture on Monday in the Legislative Council.

There are about 1257 vacant posts from class-1 to class-4 in the said university. Teaching and research work is facing difficulties due to the number of vacant posts.

MLC Satish Chavan brought to the notice of the House that four new colleges and two research centres were approved last year in the university.

He said that no posts were created for them yet and made a strong demand in the House that these vacant posts should be filled immediately.

MLC Satish Chavan drew the attention of the House by raising his voice for the filling of vacant posts.
