After providing the vaccination facility at 51 primary health centres in the district apart from the main vaccination centre, the health administration will also provide this facility at 279 sub-centres. In all, 80,000 doses of vaccines have been received in the district, and vaccination of all persons above 45 years began from April 1 onwards. Hence, the vaccination facility will be available at all the centres to increase vaccination. Assistance is being taken from the district awareness vigilance committee to create awareness about vaccination among the villagers, informed the district health officer, Dr Sudhakar Shelke.
