Ventilators received from Centre to be used for patients again

Aurangabad, June 13

The defunct ventilators received from the Central government will be used for the patients at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) from Monday after repairing. Standby ventilators will be also available in case the ventilators stops working. The tests of these ventilators will be conducted in the guidance of technicians and experts.

The Aurangabad division bench had directed the GMCH to use the 18 ventilators after repairing and also keep a standby ventilator. Similarly, there are 37 more ventilators which are not unpacked yet. Hence, the administration is planning to use the ventilators accordingly. These ventilators will be tested in the presence of the technicians of the company and the GMCH experts.
