Vidhori Marathi Sahitya Samhelan concludes with tribal music and dance

The Vidrohi Marathi Sahitya Sammelan (Rebel Marathi Literature Conference) concluded late at night at Malik Ambar Sahityanagari in the presence of renowned historian and engineer Chandrashekhar Shikhare. The event ended in a celebratory mood with participants dancing and singing to the beats of traditional tribal instruments like dhol and sibali.

Prominent personalities present at the event included acclaimed actor Yogesh Shirsat, reception committee chairman Satish Chakor, chief convener Dhananjay Borde, Vidrohi state organizer Kishor Dhamale, and R.T. Gavit. The concluding session was presided over by Prof. Pratima Pardeshi, state president of the Vidrohi Sanskritik Chalwal (Rebel Cultural Movement). During the session, key figures from the 2001 third Vidrohi Sahitya Sammelan, such as Comrade Bhimrao Bansod, Sathi Subhash Lomate, Bhimrao Sarvade, and Dr Bhalchandra Kango, were honoured for their leadership in organizing the event.

At the closing ceremony, several artists were felicitated on the Samvidhan Vichar Manch (Constitution Thought Forum), including painters Rajanand Suradkar, Nandkumar Jogdand, and Sunil Netrgawkar. The coordinator of the Muslims in the Freedom Movement poster exhibition, Khalil Deshmukh, as well as farmer-photographers Nanu Nevere and Gautam Nikam, and sculptors Vikas Sarvade, Narendra Singh Salunkhe, and Swati Salunkhe, were also honoured. Before the conclusion at the Phule-Shahu-Ambedkar Sabha Mandap, outstanding artists from the Bal Manch (Children's Forum) and Yuva Manch (Youth Forum) were awarded for their exceptional performances.
