Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

In the newly formed executive committee of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar branch for the year 2026–27, Dr Vikas Deshmukh has been elected as president. Dr Prashant Darak has been elected as secretary, while Dr Prashant Deshpande will serve as treasurer.

Outgoing president Dr Anupam Takalkar will now guide the team as immediate past president and will also hold the responsibility of state joint secretary. Dr Kedar Sane has been selected as president for the following year.

In the 2026–27 executive committee, Dr Pratima Bhale and Dr Yogesh Lakkas have been appointed as vice-presidents. Dr Akshay Marawar, Dr Mangesh Tandle, Dr Sanjay Patne and Dr Sonali Sawji have been appointed as joint secretaries for administration, clinical, cultural and sports departments respectively.

The election was conducted under the guidance of chief election officer Dr Yashwant Gade, with assistant election officers Dr Santosh Ranjalkar and Dr Rajendra Shewale supporting the process.
